Sweet and savory orange and cranberry sauce is absolutely the best way to treat family and friends during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

- 1 bag fresh cranberries
- 2/3 Cup Juice from two oranges
- 1 tablespoon Orange peel (or peel of two oranges)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2/3 Cup Cane sugar (optional coconut sugar)
- 1/3 Cup water
Heat all ingredients over medium heat to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes or until the cranberries are soft and the liquid has reduced and thickened.
Mash the cranberries in liquid and leave some of them whole.
Let it cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours until it is chilled and very thick.
