Then remove them one at a time with kitchen tongs or a fork and place them on waxed paper.

Pretzels coated with sweet and salty chocolate

Servings: 12 People
- 10 ounce dark chocolate chips Pocket or semi-sweet
- 1 lb Whole grain mini pretzels Bag, unsalted
- 2 teaspoon sea-salt Flakes
Line 2 baking sheets with wax paper.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over medium heat on the stove. *
* To build your own water bath, place a metal or heat-resistant glass bowl or saucepan over a pan of 1 inch of boiling water. The boiling water must not touch the pot or bowl on top.
Stir constantly. Remove from heat after melting. Alternatively, you can heat the device in a microwaveable bowl for 30 seconds, removing each time until it has melted. Make sure that water does not get into the chocolate or get stuck.
Take the chocolate off the heat.
Put a handful of pretzels in melted chocolate. Remove one at a time with kitchen tongs or a fork, shake any excess chocolate back into the bowl, and place the pretzel on the waxed paper. As soon as each handful has been dipped into the chocolate and placed on the waxed paper, sprinkle with sea salt while it is still hot.
Finish all pretzels in batches. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow the chocolate to harden.
If only pretzels are available, use them, but do not garnish with sea salt.
