A healthier take on a popular classic!
When we decided to recreate this famous Philly sandwich recipe, we had our work cut out for ourselves. There’s a reason so many people love this iconic sandwich! We had to overcome one big problem with the classic version: all of the extra fat and calories seemed to make it taste good. However, after some experimentation, we came up with a version that is almost better than the original. This Philly Cheese & Chicken sandwich is sure to be a mouthful. The chicken’s lean protein and loads of peppers and onions add tons of juicy flavor to this recipe. It has everything you love in a healthy sandwich!
We make our Philly Cheese Steak with Chicken so you can have a protein-rich meal without all of the saturated fat that red meats contain. There are also more vegetables than the traditional version because we love a good excuse to bring in an extra helping of vegetables. Finally, we traded in low-fat cheese to cut the saturated fat even further while still giving you that ooey, gooey cheesy taste. The result is one of our most popular sandwich recipes of all time.
