A quick and convenient recipe to spice up a wide variety of meals
This delicious recipe couldn’t be easier. Simply combine all the ingredients except the olive oil in a food processor. Blend the mixture while gradually adding the olive oil until the consistency you want is achieved. If you’ve used all of the olive oil but the pesto still seems a little too thick, add some water until the consistency you want is reached!
- 2 cups Basil leaves (fresh)
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1/3 Cup Sunflower seeds (or pumpkin seeds)
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- Water as needed
Mix all ingredients except the olive oil (and water if necessary) in the food processor and mix well. Gradually add the olive oil until the desired consistency is achieved. If all of the olive oil has been used and the pesto is too thick, gradually add water until the desired consistency is achieved.
