How to make baked apple chips
These crispy snacks couldn’t be easier to make! With just ten minutes of preparation time, our recipe can be put together quickly and you will have the chips baked in the oven in no time. Two apples create enough chips for six people. Of course, if you want extra on hand during hunger strikes, just double the recipe!
First, core the apples and cut into thin slices. Place the sliced apples on a baking sheet, sprinkle with cinnamon, and bake at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for an hour. Turn the apple slices over so they cook evenly and bake for an additional hour until they look nice and crispy. Take the apple chips out of the oven and let them cool.
What Kind of Apples Should You Use?
When it comes to choosing apples, any type of apples can be used as per your convenience. I find that sweet, crispy varieties like Honeycrisp apples, Pink Lady apples, Gala apples, and Fuji apples work wonderfully. Also, try to use more than one type for variety of flavors and excitement.
We can almost guarantee the whole family will love these addicting chips! The best part? They are clean, healthy, and contain vitamins and nutrients that your body will appreciate. When it comes to healthy snacking, these delicious homemade baked apple chips are definitely at the top of the charts.
